The Tornabuoni Garage is located in the ZTL of Florence but can be reached by car without any problem: once there, the parking staff will communicate the number of your license plate to the municipal police to avoid fines.
Located in the heart of Florence's historic centre, a few steps from Via Tornabuoni and Piazza della Repubblica, it is the ideal structure for those who want to visit Florence's historic centre in complete tranquility. The main historical monuments are only a few minutes walk away: Piazza del Duomo, with the cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiore and the bell tower of Giotto; Piazza della Repubblica and Palazzo Vecchio; the Uffizi and the historical Ponte Vecchio; the church of Santa Maria Novella; the church of Borgo San Lorenzo. Fashion lovers can visit the shops in Via Tornabuoni and Via Calzaioli, where the main Italian fashion brands are located and much more, the Ferrari shop is a few steps from the car park. Near the car park there is also the Borgo San Lorenzo market and the Loggia del Porcellino, as well as the historic and elegant cafés of Piazza della Repubblica, such as Paskowki and Le Giubbe Rosse, and the excellent bars and trattorias at a good price.
The car park is also well served by Ataf public transport and is only a five-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella station, where there is tram line 1.
Please note:
On Sundays and public holidays the car park is closed from 13:00 to 16:00.
The car park is located within the Florence Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL).
Upon arrival, you will have to pay a fee that will allow the car park staff to enter your vehicle's registration number in the list of those authorized to enter the ZTL.
The registration covers a single entry/exit of the ZTL zone.
Whenever you want to enter or leave the car park during the hours in which the ZTL is active, you will have to pay an additional fee.
Indications
The car park is easily accessible by the A1 motorway (the northern exit of Florence is recommended), by the A11 and by the Fi-Pi-Li. Peretola'Amerigio Vespucci' airport in Florence is about 20 minutes by car.
