La Cubierta de Leganés, inaugurated in 1997 and currently known as La Nueva Cubierta, is a multifunctional space of 12,000 square metres, which is located in the old bullring of Leganés, just next to the Casa del Reloj. The venue hosts different types of shows, both sporting events and concerts (The Chemical Brothers, Rage Against the Machine, Deep Purple, Scorpions, among others). The venue has a capacity of 10,000 seats for all those who wish to attend.
La Cubierta de Leganés does not have a car park inside the venue, so if you come by car, you will have to park around the area, for example, on Avenida de Gibraltar. However, parking spaces are very limited, so for an important event it would be almost impossible to find available parking to leave your car.
If you are thinking of parking in the street, either because you live in Leganés or you are visiting the city, you should know that there is no blue zone, so you can park for free in the streets of this town. However, your car will not have surveillance like in a private or public paying car park.
You can find some free parking areas on your way to the Cubierta de Leganés, although many spaces may already be occupied by residents or by other event attendees who have come in advance. There is the option to find parking on the street, but it is not secure, however, if you want to secure your parking space so that you have a free space to park when you arrive at the event, we recommend you use Parkimeter. You can search, compare and book your parking space here.
