This 17th-century palace located in the northwest of Madrid, near the Universidad Complutense and the lighthouse of Moncloa, in a complex of buildings dedicated to administrative and governmental tasks, houses the seat of the Government Presidency.
The Moncloa Palace was built from 1949 to 1954 on the same site as the former Royal Real Sitio de Moncloa, which was destroyed during the Civil War. This is a cultural asset.
The Palace is located in Moncloa, a neighbourhood next to Argüelles and Chamberí.
