The Cathedral of Salamanca, also called the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin, is one of two cathedrals located in the city of Salamanca, in the autonomous community of Castilla y León, Spain.

Fue construida entre los siglos XVI y XVIII, mezclando los estilos renacentista, barroco y gótico. It is one of the largest cathedrals in Spain, standing 110 metres high, and is also the seat of the Diocese of Salamanca.

Where to park at the Cathedral of Salamanca

The Cathedral of Salamanca is located in the heart of the city, near the Tormes River. It is only 5 minutes walk from the Roman Bridge.

The cathedral is surrounded by narrow pedestrian streets that do not allow access to vehicles. To park in the area, you will have to park a little further away from the nearby areas. There you will find urbanisation and roads with parking spaces available.

Blue and Green Zone in Salamanca

If, on the other hand, you prefer to park your car on the street, make sure you know the different zones. Below we inform you of the regulated parking areas in Salamanca.

Blue Zone Anyone can park there, including residents, for a limited period of time, after passing through a parking meter.

There is a blue zone in the streets inside the first ring road bounded by Avenida Mirat, Paseo Canalejas, Paseo Desengaño, Paseo Rector Esperabé, Paseo Carmelitas, Paseo San Vicente and Paseo San Gregorio, among others.

Parking is allowed for a maximum of 2 hours.

Green Zone The green zone is a rotation zone. Within the established timetables, it is an exclusive zone for residents, but outside these hours any user can park.

Unlike the blue zone, you can park for a maximum of 5 hours.
