The stadium was inaugurated in 1969 on an area of 40,000 square meters of Valencian orchard in the neighborhood of Sant Llorenç. Its official name was Estadio Antonio Román, where Levante UD played its first match against Valencia CF. Until 1972 it was renamed Nuevo estadio (New Stadium), and from 1999 to the present, it is known as Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.
The field is mainly known for being the venue of official matches of Levante U.D., which is currently in the first division. In 2020 it has been remodeled and has a capacity of 26,354 seats for fans who want to attend matches.
Although the club has parking, finding a spot at the stadium on an impromptu basis can be very risky, especially if it is the first place fans go to leave their vehicles.
Around the stadium you have the option of parking in the Arena shopping center; however, its spaces are limited and in some cases are used by neighbors and workers in the area. Therefore, we recommend you to inform yourself in advance about the availability within the car parks near the stadium and to book in time to simply arrive to enjoy your match. You can find out where to park on the Parkimeter website by clicking here. For example, an option to park near the stadium, can be APK2 Avenida de la Horchata.
